The conical screw-off top on the Pre-Wash bottle IS the applicator. The pointed tip dispenses product directly to the scalp when the bottle is inverted. There is no separate attachment needed. Correct use: Divide dry hair into sections, invert the bottle, and use the applicator tip to apply Pre-Wash evenly to roots and scalp one section at a time. Massage in with fingers or scalp brush for 3-4 minutes, then wash with New Wash. If the tip appears sealed, blocked, or won't dispense, this is likely a packaging defect - arrange a replacement and flag to the ops/product team.
