Styling 101

Styling Gel

How to use

For thick, tight curls and coils: For maximum definition, style on wet hair. Section into small to medium parts and squeeze a quarter-size amount of Styling Gel into your hands, then rake through from roots to ends. Add more as needed. For extra definition, finger coil. Finish by air-drying, diffusing, twisting or braiding to achieve your desired look.

For loose curls and waves: Section wet or damp hair. For each section, squeeze a dime-size amount of Styling Gel into your hands, then rake through from mid-lengths to ends. Air-dry for curl elongation or diffuse (or scrunch) for maximum curl and volume.

For sleek styles: Squeeze a dime-size amount of Styling Gel into your hands and rub them together, then evenly distribute throughout damp hair. Focus on roots and mid-lengths for smoothness, adding more as needed. Comb or brush hair into your desired sleek updo or ponytail, using a fine-toothed comb to smooth any flyaways.

Primer

How to use

Mist Primer over dry or damp hair.

Use your fingers to distribute evenly.

Style as usual.

Hair Balm

How to use

Start with a dime-size amount for fine hair and quarter-size for thicker hair. Work into damp or wet hair, then let air-dry (or diffuse).

Pro Tip: Between wash days, re-apply to easily refresh your style or smooth flyaways and frizz.

Undressed

How to use

Spray on damp or dry hair. Scrunch for crunch-free texture and waves.

Pro Tip: For extra volume, spritz a bit on your roots, too.

Powder

How to use

Pump a few puffs into your roots and distribute with your fingers or a brush. Add more until hair gets the lift and texture you want. Tousle to style.

Pro Tip: For best control, start with a light press on the pump—no need to push all the way down. Pump more as needed.

Root Lift

How to use

Spritz sparingly on damp hair, 6 to 10 inches from where you want to add volume or lock in curl definition. (You can also spray it onto your palms and work into your roots.)

Blow-dry or diffuse to activate.

Wax

How to use

Rub a pea-size amount of Wax between your hands to emulsify.

Rake through hair for easy shape and separation.

Add more where you need extra hold.

Oil

How to use

On damp hair: Apply a few drops to damp or dry hair from mids to ends. Air-dry to emphasize natural texture.

On dry hair: Style as usual, then apply to ends for reduced frizz and extra polish.
