Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Marisa Martin is originally from the Philadelphia area and has lived in NYC for 9 years now.

She is a freelance contemporary dancer who also directs rehearsals and does administrative work for an emerging company.

Before her shoulder-grazing cut, her hair had been the same for most of her life: long. “Sometimes I woke up and it surprised me with texture and some great looking waves. Most of the time, though, it just fell straight and flat. I also spent A LOT of time untangling it, which was just not fun.” Because she dances, she wanted a cut that still allows her to pull hair back off her face and neck. “And because I'm always running around,” she says, “It'd be nice to have something that is not too time-consuming to style.”

New Wash is perfectly in concert with her wishes, and says, “My hair NEVER feels greasy anymore. I also just love how moisturized my hair feels without getting weighed down – those were previously two contradictory things.”
